Ball hockey is one of the fastest growing sports in North America. And for the first time, Halifax has its very own youth league governed by the Nova Scotia Minor Ball Hockey Association.

The Nova Scotia Minor Ball Hockey Association is a non-profit league formed by a group of parents and adult players who are passionate about the game. In this, our inaugural year, we expect to register more than 240 boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 16. We expect that number will increase dramatically year over year, if trend lines in other parts of Canada are to be believed.

All games will be played at the Gorsebrook Park rink in Halifax’s South End but the league will draw youth from across the peninsula and beyond, including Dartmouth, Bedford, and Sackville.

This is an opportunity for your company to forge links directly with sports families and sports enthusiasts. Sports sponsorships can brighten a company’s reputation, it allows you to connect with future clients. Your sponsorship is material proof of the company’s compassion for and an interest in the community it serves.

With a sponsorship, your company’s name and logo would be prominently featured on team jerseys, league marketing collateral, league website, and any form of local advertising. The team would thereafter be known as ‘your company’s name,’ literally making your firm a household name. Priceless.

Large corporations like McDonald’s have recognized the value of youth sport sponsorship and have gone all in with their AtoMc sponsorship program for Atom-level players across Canada. BMO has associated itself with youth soccer.

This is your chance to get in at the ground floor of this very exciting sport sponsorship opportunity.
