High School Program Spring 2017 Season

General Description:

Fun Division where players register individually but can pick 1 friend to be on their team.

Seasons to Play:

The Halifax League intends on hosting the following 2017 seasons.

Spring Season (April till June)
Summer Season (June through August)
Fall Season (September through November)

High School Program Details:

12 Games + Playoffs (Possibility of 2 games per week on some weeks)
Team Shirt to Keep
Team Picture (print and digital copy available)
Player Souvenir
Free Food and Drinks after the Final Game
Outdoor Ball Hockey FUN! at the Gorsebrook Park Hockey Pad


Spring Season Scheduling will usually consist of 1 to 2 games per week.
The time slots used for this division are Saturday afternoon 4pm-5pm and Wednesday evening 7pm-8pm

These slots are divided up evenly as possible for the teams.
There may be free practice time available throughout the season.
Coaches will be notified and encouraged to use this opportunity with their respective teams!

Divisional Restrictions:

All players must be a high school students to Play!

Groups and Teams:

Players can pick 1 friend OR 1 family member to play with.
We CAN NOT make groups of player for obvious reasons.
We will try our best to make the teams as fair as possible so that the games are competitive and fun for everyone.

High School Program Fees:
Early Bird Registration (February 1st - February 15th): $60
Early Bird Registration (February 16th - March 15th): $75
Early Bird Registration (March 16th Onwards): $85

High School Program Volunteers:

Sometimes parents might have a bit more fun than the players. Visit our Volunteer section to fill out a coaching registration form to help out! Promoting a positive environment and teaching sportsmanship, respect, and having fun are most important.

Weather Policy:

Games are played in the rain. Games may be canceled in extreme weather conditions such as: heavy rain, thunder, lightning, high winds, rain with low temperatures. We may be renting some indoor gym time for the first few weeks of the season to accommodate an unpredictable Halifax spring!!
